Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2026. By using CodeAtlas, you agree to the terms on this page. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

Using the site

CodeAtlas provides free, publicly readable coding lessons. You're welcome to read any lesson, use the in-browser code editors, and copy the code examples into your own projects. No account or payment is required to access any content on the site.

Content ownership

The lesson text, explanations, and site design on CodeAtlas are original work and belong to CodeAtlas unless otherwise noted. The short code examples shown in lessons are free for you to use, modify, and include in your own projects, personal or commercial, without attribution. Reproducing entire lessons — the written explanations themselves — on another site or in another publication without permission is not permitted.

Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape, mirror, or bulk-copy the site's content for republication elsewhere, not to attempt to disrupt or overload the site, and not to use the site for any unlawful purpose.

No warranty

CodeAtlas is provided "as is," for educational purposes, without warranty of any kind. While every code example is written and checked carefully, we can't guarantee that every lesson is error-free, complete, or suitable for every version of every language or tool. See the Disclaimer page for more on this.

Limitation of liability

CodeAtlas and its author aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or any code example on it. You use the material here at your own discretion and risk.

Advertising

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense to help cover its running costs. See the Privacy Policy for details on the cookies and data involved.

External links

Lessons occasionally link to external sites for further reading or reference. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content of those sites.

These terms may be updated from time to time as the site evolves. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
